Women put an average of 168 chemicals on their bodies every day. I’m here to change that.

I started playing scientist and creating skincare products after I had a huge eczema flare and it seemed like every moisturizer on the market just made it worse.

After I started paying attention to the ingredients of the skincare products on the shelves, I realized how hard it was to find products that didn’t have synthetic fragrances, chemicals, and other harmful ingredients I couldn’t pronounce. I wanted something simple, clean, and nourishing that was actually good for you and felt amazing on your skin.

The eczema flare continued to tell me something needed to change so I dug deeper. Introducing: tallow! Loaded with nutrients, I decided to try it and never looked back! I handcrafted my own tallow butter with a very short ingredient list that packed a punch and was perfect for my very sensitive skin.

What inspired More Than Tinted Lip Balm?

Four years ago, after I had my son, I had a massive hormonal eczema flare on my face. Makeup became a no-go and would make my eczema worse and I felt anything but cute. All I wanted was a product that could give me that something *extra* while being clean AND nourishing. There was nothing out there—so I created it.

I wanted to create the ultimate tinted balm experience designed to give you the “no-makeup-makeup” look that transforms your skin and boosts self-confidence while being made with nourishing ingredients.
